I was initially put off by the strong scent (a little musky floral?) but got used to it after a while. Balm glides on smoothly and moisturizes well, so a just a little (bean sized) goes a long way. Though it doesn't really create the effect of having glowing beautiful flawless skin immediately, I find that it soothed out my skin condition over time (I witnessed a change in 4 days) and gradually my skin looked better!
I used sunscreen over it so that I won't look oily, but more of dewy :)
