I have been using a moisturizing sunscreen for the past 3 years and decided to try something new. I have combination skin, but live in a very dry area with hot weather almost year-round, so my skin also tends to flake. I usually exfoliate with a chemical and physical exfoliant once a week. Before using this product, I have to layer on moisturizer or else it will start peeling and shows the dry skin a lot. It also leaves a white cast, but I am fairly pale, so that isn't much of a problem, but if you have a darker skin tone, it might be a problem. I don't have sensitive skin so I can't comment on that, though I do dislike the chemical sunscreens since they burn a bit. Overall, I wouldn't repurchase this again since it leaves my skin super dry and matte.
Pros:
- leaves skin smooth
- easy to apply
- very light smell, smells like powder?
Cons
- drying (not good for dry skin since it shows all the flakes)
- white cast
Overall I would purchase this if I was looking for a mattifying product, but I prefer a moisturizing, dewy finish because of where I live and how my skin is.
